Bold Commerce is hosting Canada's largest Extra Life event yet!

Extra Life is a 24-hour game-a-thon charity event that unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network hospital. For over a decade, gamers from all over the world have come together to give back to those who need it the most by raising more than $50 million for sick and injured kids through Extra Life.

Join us at Bell MTS Place on September 7-8th, 2019 to be a part of a charity event like no other, where participants and sponsors raise money for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, and connect with the kids and their families who need our support now, more than ever! Extra Life North will be streamed LIVE on Twitch's home page, via the Flocker.tv stream.

Earlybird registration is $50 until August 14 at 11:59pm ($75 after that). We ask that you set a personal fundraising goal of at least $200 to help us hit our goal. Register now, spots are limited!

Gamers
Click the green "Register" button in the top menu. This will open a modal that explains the steps you need to do to register. You must be 16 or over to register.
Your registration fee secures your spot at Extra Life North, and includes the following items:
  • Table, chair (unless you bring your own), internet, and power
  • Event badge
  • Event tshirt
  • Dinner, late-night snack, & breakfast
  • Drinks & snacks
  • Entry into mainstage activity draws
  • Entry into prize draws
Once you register, you will get your own fundraising page on the Extra Life website. On the right-hand side, there's a section called "Get the word out". Tweet, post, share, and ask your friends & family to donate. The more you spread the word, the bigger the difference you can make!
No. We are asking participants to set a minimum fundraising goal of $200 to help us meet our overall event goal. But raise as much as you can - if that's more, great! The goal of Extra Life North is to make a real difference in as many kids' lives as possible. The more everyone raises, the more of an impact we can make together!
Yes, we only accept credit card for registration. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. For gamers who are under 18, you will also need your parents' consent to register.
Yes, the first 650 people to register will get a spot. We are expecting to sell out, so don't wait too long to register! Plus, the sooner you register, the sooner you can start fundraising and the bigger the impact you can have!
Yes, we won't be providing any games or gaming systems. You are required to bring your own PC/console and games to play at the event. Setup is on Saturday between 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. If you are coming with a group of people and will be sharing a game/PC/console and playing a game together, that is also fine.
You are required to bring your own PC/console and games to play at the event. If you are bringing a console, you must also bring your own TV/monitor (no larger than 32"). Chairs will be supplied, but you are also welcome to bring your own gaming chair if you prefer.

Setup is on Saturday between 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. If you are coming with a group of people and will be sharing a game/PC/console and playing a game together, that is also fine.
Spectators
In addition to supporting a great cause, you can come check out the event, cheer on the gamers, and hear from the people who benefit from the event.
Tickets will be available soon at both Bold Commerce locations, at various partner & sponsor locations, as well as at the door during the event. Check back soon for more details.

Tickets include unlimited entry throughout the event, and all proceeds will go directly to the CHFM.
Come show your support & cheer on gamers between 11:30am - 6pm on Saturday, and 9am - 1pm on Sunday. Bring your friends & family - all proceeds go to CHFM. The main stage events will be between noon and 3:30 PM on the Saturday.

The money raised through Extra Life North will go directly to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba as ‘unrestricted funds’. This means that the hospital decides where and how to spend the money to ensure the dollars we raise make the biggest impact in the lives of the kids they treat (to fund research and training, purchase life-saving equipment and pay for uncompensated care, etc).
Volunteers
We need volunteers for a variety of roles but most of them involve helping setup or tear down, providing information to participants and spectators, and pointing people in the right direction. If you are interested in volunteering, please register to volunteer and we will provide more information.
We are looking for people who can commit to either 4 or 8 hour shifts, and require people who can help throughout the night as well. If you are interested in volunteering, please register to volunteer and we will provide more information.
